Wedding decor ideas: A Miami bride's diamond vision

Modern, classic and elegant best describes this wedding. Carla and Mario came to us with an idea of a clean and simple ceremony with a sparkling reception for their big day. This is one of our favorites. We hope you like it too!

Yellow rose petals lead up to a bamboo arch with accents of simple white draping with a picture perfect backdrop. Mario and the groomsmen wore yellow cymbidium orchid boutonnieres. Carla and her troop showcased simple handheld bouquets of long stemmed white calla lilies.

A very different feel from the ceremony, but perfectly fitting for this couple!

The tables were dressed in simple white linens topped with embroidered swirl overlays. All the tables featured crystal beaded candle holders in assorted heights. Some hosted orchids, while others hosted candles. White hydrangeas surrounded the bases of the holders. Silver charger plates with crystal beading coordinated with the centerpieces.

This bridal party table was concealed with a simple satin silver linen. Continuing the theme, a series of crystal beaded vases in assorted shapes accented with white hydrangeas and cymbidium orchids lined the front. Additional crystal beaded holders with natural and white LED votive candles were placed in between.

An 18' wide white satin backdrop featuring the couple's monogram "C&M" was lit from behind for all the guests to see. The perimeter walls were uplit in blue tones completing this elegant affair.

Creating a beautiful centerpiece does not have to be that complicated. It takes time and patience. You should start by choosing the vase before the flowers. Simple cubes, round, or bubble vases. These can be found at any store or market near your home. Always remember keeping it simple yet elegant. A good look is having two to three types of vases that way when your guest walk into the room they have a different shape to look at and not just a flat surface. This will surely give them something to talk about. Having small, medium, or large vases with elegant floral can make a large room look much less smaller and intimate.

Yvie and William's Wedding

We were very excited to have been a part of Yvie and Williams wedding. This special day took place at the beautiful Grove Isle Resort in Coconut Grove. Being the non-traditional bride, Yvie's vision was as extravagant as her personality. The chuppah was made of a custom chuppah embellished with silver curly willow and silver draping. The two front corner were accented with floral arrangement consisting of white hydrangeas, dendrobium orchids and mini purple calla lilies. The rain didn't damper this bride's day. The party went on!

Inside the ballroom, the tables were adorned with steel colored satin linens and silver heart beaded overlays. We used aubergine (deep purple) chair pads and satin napkins to give a pop of color to the tables. Being a bride who thinks outside of the box, the centerpieces were just that. Sahid from Xclusive Concept designed centerpieces with a circular effect. Antique hydrangeas accented with green cymbidium orchid blooms, and black calla lilies were shaped into balls and set within an over-sized bowl. A smaller arrangement was set on the opening of the bowl with black calla lilies stemming out as if they were hugging the bowl.

This couple knows how to party. To help create the mood for the after party, white lounge groupings were set around the dance floor. Large acrylic tables with internal green light were set between.
